Welcome to the American German Club of the Palm Beaches, located in the Lantana-Lake Worth area. The Club was established in 1967 for the purpose of fostering mutual friendship and relationship with German Culture, to spread among others an understanding of German traditions and customs. Mission Statement   

MISSION STATEMENT
The American German Club strives to promote: The Cultural Value of German Customs, Opportunities for Good Fellowship ‘Gemütlichkeit’, Preservation of German Cultural Artifacts for Future Generations, Education of the Public of Palm Beach County. CALENDAR OF EVENTS
There's always something going on at the Club! Each Friday the Club holds a German-American Dance with live bands. A sit down dinner is available, prior to the dance at reasonable prices for Members and Guests. If you’re interested in joining, we invite you to attend or next event. Christkindlmarkt
CHRISTKINDLMARKT
Our annual Christmas Market event takes place throughout our festival grounds each year in early December. Just like the outdoor holidays markets found throughout Germany, Christkindlmarkt (cr-ist-ken-dul-markt) showcases a variety of delicious traditional foods and drinks, merchandise, entertainment, and performances. Fun activities are geared towards the youngest visitors, such as workshops of making paper ornaments, decorating small gingerbread men, coloring pages, and much more! There will be a Lantern Parade, a chance to meet the Christkind and Santa Claus and participate in the Christmas tree lighting. Click here for details.
 
Oktoberfest
OKTOBERFEST
One of the largest in the country. Two German bands on two weekends. We offer authentic German cooking, domestic and imported beer, carnival and much more. Winefest WINEFEST

Miss Oktoberfest

MISS OKTOBERFEST
The Miss Oktoberfest Pageant is an event designed to encourage community participation in family programs and activities at the American-German Club of the Palm Beaches. Click here for more details.

 
Frühschoppen FRÜHSCHOPPEN
Frühschoppen is understood more generally to be a gathering in a pub on Sunday morning, traditionally held after church service and was celebrated in Germany since many hundreds of years. It is accompanied by drinks (mostly wine and beer) in a “Schoppen” (which is traditionally half a pint). Therefore the name “Früh – Schoppen.” Join us every Fourth Sunday of the month from 10:30AM to 2PM at the Club to celebrate the tradition of Frühschoppen with traditional food. You have a chance to socialize and get to know other guests and club members. Admission is free. Click here for details.
 
Masskrugstemmen MASSKRUGSTEMMEN
“Masskrugstemmen,” which translates loosely to the lifting of a liter mug of beer, is a well-known and a competitive Bavarian sport. The “Masskrug,” a 1 Liter Stein is held with one arm, completely stretched out and parallel to the floor. Click here for details.

In 1967 a small Group of Americans of German descent decided to form a club with purpose of preserving the traditions, culture and heritage of their German Homeland. Scholarship SCHOLARSHIP
The American German Club of the Palm Beaches scholarship award is intended to provide financial assistance to selected undergraduate students majoring in German language and literature.
